According to materials released by the Financial Services Commission in June 2026, the public-participation National Growth Fund allowed KOSDAQ venture funds, which benefit from priority IPO allocation, as sub-funds so as to seek higher returns through participation in the IPO market.
The materials describe the KOSDAQ venture fund requirements as investing at least 50% in venture companies or KOSDAQ-listed companies within 7 years of losing venture status and at least 15% in new shares of venture companies, and 3 of the 10 selected sub-funds applied as KOSDAQ venture funds. Check the prospectus of that product for the structure and risks of the public-participation National Growth Fund.
