What is a backdoor listing?
La versione italiana di questa pagina è in preparazione. Fino ad allora il testo è mostrato in inglese.
A backdoor listing refers to an unlisted company effectively achieving a listing without going through the formal listing review and public offering process, by means such as a merger with a listed company, a comprehensive share exchange, or a business acquisition combined with a capital increase through third-party allotment.
It is not an official legal term, but it often involves major changes to the listed company's governance or business.
