What is a corporate financial stability private fund?

La versione italiana di questa pagina è in preparazione. Fino ad allora il testo è mostrato in inglese.

A corporate financial stability private fund invests in companies that need to improve their financial structure, such as companies showing signs of insolvency, companies that have filed for rehabilitation and companies that have signed financial structure improvement agreements, to help normalize their management, and distributes the returns to investors.

It can invest by acquiring such companies' shares, bonds, non-performing loans (NPLs) or real estate, or by purchasing loan receivables. Introduced on a temporary basis in 2010, it became a permanent scheme from December 2016.
