Our Commitment
Vårt åtagande
Taking charge of a client's assets begins with stating, first, the standards by which those assets will be handled. BNB Asset Management makes four commitments, Depth, Discipline, Transparency, and Partnership, and sets out alongside each the means by which you can verify it.

Why We Commit
What We Promise Before Results
Investing in a fund means entrusting the management of your assets to someone else's judgment. That is why we believe an asset manager must, before it speaks of performance, make clear how it ranks its clients' interests, how it handles risk, and what it discloses.
The commitments below are not new slogans. They restate, in our clients' terms, the legal obligations and internal standards BNB already follows, and the disclosures it has already made public.
Four Pillars
Four Pillars, Four Commitments
BNB's commitments rest on four pillars. Under each commitment, we list the mechanisms that are in operation today.
-
01
Depth
Depth · Long-term Value
We will work in one field over the long term and in depth. Since starting out in 2004 as an IPO and Pre-IPO investment firm, we have kept to the single path of IPOs even as our business has broadened, and we base our judgments on the intrinsic value of companies rather than on short-term market movements.
-
02
Discipline
Discipline · Risk Discipline
We will manage within defined procedures and limits. Every trade first passes pre-trade checks (pre-compliance), risk limits and asset valuation are deliberated by specialized committees, and risk events are, as a principle, resolved on the same day.
-
03
Transparency
Transparency · Integrity
We will tell you what you should know, when you should know it. We disclose quarterly business reports and key management matters, and compliance oversight rests with a Compliance Officer independent of the investment organization.
-
04
Partnership
Partnership · Client Focus
We will put our clients' interests first. We place investors' interests ahead of those of the Company and its employees, treat all investors equally, and where a conflict of interest may arise, we inform you in advance and complete the necessary measures before transacting.
How to Verify
How to Verify Our Commitments
A commitment has meaning when it can be verified. Every mechanism below is grounded in law or in published standards, and you can check each one directly in the Disclosures section of our website and in published materials.
| Mechanism | Description | Where to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Periodic disclosures | We prepare and disclose a business report every quarter. | Disclosures on our website; KOFIA electronic disclosure |
| Ad hoc disclosures | We disclose key matters such as the appointment of executives, of the Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer, and of the external auditor. | Disclosures on our website |
| Stewardship Code | We participate in the Korea Stewardship Code and disclose our implementation plan for each principle and the persons responsible. | Stewardship Code page |
| Independent compliance oversight | A Compliance Officer independent of the investment organization also serves as Chief Risk Officer. | Compliance page; disclosure of the Compliance Officer's appointment |
| External audit | An external auditor audits the Company's financial statements. | Notice of external auditor appointment; audit reports on DART |
| Segregated custody of assets | Fund property is held and administered by trustees (custodians), separately from the Company's own assets. | Transparent Structure page |
What We Do Not Promise
What We Do Not Promise
BNB does not promise returns. Collective investment securities are not protected by the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation under the Depositor Protection Act, and investment principal may be lost as a result of changes in asset prices and market conditions. Nor does past performance guarantee future returns.
What we can promise is not an outcome but a process: to keep to our stated principles, and to report on that process transparently and on schedule.
- All funds managed by the Company are general private collective investment vehicles (general private funds), in which only qualified investors as defined under the Financial Investment Services and Capital Markets Act may invest.
