How are investment profiles classified?

Investment profiles are usually classified into 5 types: stable, stability-seeking, risk-neutral, active and aggressive.

The stable type expects returns at the level of deposits and savings and does not want any loss of principal, while types closer to the aggressive end are willing to accept the possibility of large losses in pursuit of higher returns. Financial companies must match the identified investment profile with the product's risk grade and recommend only suitable products.
