Who can invest in an institutional-only private fund?

In principle, the limited partners (LPs) of an institutional-only private fund must not be individuals and are restricted to investors with expertise and risk management capabilities.
Typical examples include the State, the Bank of Korea, financial companies and special corporations, funds and mutual aid associations established by law, and stock-listed corporations that meet certain requirements and have registered with the association. There are some exceptions prescribed by law, such as officers and investment managers of the managing partner (GP).
