The Financial Supervisory Service has warned that businesses soliciting investment in social media group chat rooms with the lure of high returns are likely to be unauthorized or disguised financial investment businesses.
They often have victims download a private HTS (trading program), take their money, make it look as though profits are being made, and then stall when withdrawals are requested before disappearing. Regulated financial companies do not distribute private HTS through messenger apps, so if you receive such a pitch, stop trading and report it to the Financial Supervisory Service or the police.
