De Nederlandse versie van deze pagina is in voorbereiding. Tot die tijd staat de tekst in het Engels.
Market risk is the risk of losses on the assets you hold due to movements in market variables such as share prices, interest rates, exchange rates and commodity prices.
Equity risk, interest rate risk, currency risk and commodity risk are typical types. Because it affects the market as a whole, it is hard to avoid completely even by spreading your money across many stocks.
