How do the KOSPI market, KOSDAQ, KONEX and K-OTC differ?

The KOSPI market, the KOSDAQ market and the KONEX market are exchange markets opened and operated by the Korea Exchange, while the K-OTC market is an over-the-counter market.

For a stock to be traded on an exchange market, it must go through a registration procedure called listing. Listing requirements and levels of regulation differ by market, so it is a good idea to check which market a stock you invest in trades on.
