What rights do shareholders have?
Den svenska versionen av den här sidan förbereds. Tills vidare visas innehållet på engelska.
Shareholders have rights such as voting at general meetings of shareholders, receiving dividends from the company's profits, and being allotted new shares in proportion to their holdings when the company issues new shares.
In principle, each share carries one vote, and treasury shares held by the company have no voting rights. Shareholders holding at least a certain percentage of shares also have minority shareholder rights, such as the right to request that a general meeting be convened, to inspect the accounting books and to demand the dismissal of directors.
