Can a fund redemption be postponed?

Yes. If redemption cannot be made on the scheduled date for reasons prescribed by law, such as the fund being unable to dispose of its assets, the asset manager may postpone redemption.

In that case, it must hold a general meeting of investors within 6 weeks from the date of postponement to resolve matters concerning redemption, and notify investors of the outcome. If some of the assets can be disposed of, a partial redemption covering only that portion may be made first.
