What is a reverse stock split?
A reverse stock split (share consolidation) combines the par value of several issued shares into a smaller number of shares; it is the opposite of a stock split.
After consolidation, the number of shares falls and the substantive stake represented by each share rises, but this does not in itself change the company's value.
