Getting Started

How to Get Started

Our services begin with a consultation and continue through investor verification, explanation and contract, management and reporting, and redemption or termination. Because channels and procedures differ slightly by service, we have set out what to check and prepare at each step.

Two Channels

The channel depends on the service

Funds

General private funds · through a distributor

Funds are subscribed through each fund’s distributor, such as a securities firm. The distributor verifies qualified-investor status and explains the product; you cannot subscribe on this website. BNB funds have 11 distributors (as of 31 March 2026).

Mandates & Advice

Discretionary management & advisory · directly with BNB

Discretionary management and investment advisory are contracted directly with BNB Asset Management. Please contact us by phone or at our main email address.

Step by Step

The process in five steps

The order of the steps is the same; what is checked differs by service.

  1. 01

    Consultation

    Consultation

We confirm your objectives and the scope of service you are looking for.

    General private funds
Subscription consultations are provided by each fund’s distributor. Questions about the company or access to fund information can be directed to BNB’s main line.
    Discretionary management
We listen to the institution’s objectives and size, the permissible investment scope and any constraints.
    Investment advisory
We listen to your objectives, areas of interest and the scope of advice you want.
  2. 02

    Verification

    Investor verification

We confirm that you are eligible for the service and establish your investment profile.

    General private funds
The distributor verifies qualified-investor status. Qualified investors who are general financial consumers may request that suitability and appropriateness rules be applied.
    Discretionary management
We confirm that you are a professional institutional investor under Article 271(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Capital Markets Act.
    Investment advisory
For retail investors, we confirm objectives, financial situation and experience to establish an investment profile.
  3. 03

    Explanation & Contract

    Explanation & contract

We explain the key terms and risks and provide the contract documents.

    General private funds
You review the strategy, fees and costs, redemption terms and key risks in the fund rules and explanatory materials. Retail investors receive a key product summary.
    Discretionary management
We explain the service, investment risks and fees, agree the investment scope, policy, restrictions and reporting, and then provide the agreement.
    Investment advisory
We explain the content and scope of advice, investment risks and fees, then sign the investment advisory agreement and provide a copy.
  4. 04

    Management & Reporting

    Management & reporting

We manage or advise within the agreed scope and keep you able to check it.

    General private funds
The trustee holds fund assets and the fund administrator calculates the NAV. You can check the NAV and your balance through the distributor.
    Discretionary management
Mandate assets are held in an account in your name, and we report activity and results in the form and frequency set by contract.
    Investment advisory
We provide analysis and opinions within the scope and in the manner set by contract. You make the decisions and place the trades.
  5. 05

    Redemption & Termination

    Redemption & termination

Check in advance how and on what terms an investment can be closed.

    General private funds
Open-ended funds can be redeemed on the terms in the fund rules, and a redemption fee may apply. Closed-ended funds cannot be redeemed before maturity.
    Discretionary management
You may ask us to change how assets are managed or to terminate the agreement. Please check in advance how assets held at termination will be handled.
    Investment advisory
The contract term and termination conditions are set out in the agreement. If markets or your goals change, we review the direction of our advice together.

What to Prepare

Helpful to have ready

The exact documents depend on the distributor, the contracting channel and the type of investor. In general, having the following ready makes a consultation easier.

  • Identity verification

Materials needed to verify the identity of an individual or entity. The channel will tell you which documents apply.

  • Investor information

Information used to establish your investment profile, such as objectives, financial situation and experience.

  • Professional-investor evidence (if applicable)

If you invest as a professional investor, evidence of professional-investor designation may be required.

  • Management terms (discretionary)

The terms to be set in the agreement, such as investment scope, policy, restrictions and reporting.
