KOSDAQ Venture Funds

What are the risks of investing in a KOSDAQ venture fund?

Because a large part of the assets is invested in venture companies and small KOSDAQ companies, price volatility from sector and stock concentration is high, and unlisted shares and mezzanine securities carry liquidity risk, as they can be hard to sell when you want to.

Mezzanine securities also carry the issuer's credit risk, and the amount of IPO shares allocated varies with competition. Above all, a fund is a performance-based product whose principal is not guaranteed, so check the risk sections of the prospectus or key product description carefully.
