Can I cancel after investing in a fund if I change my mind?

Under the Financial Consumer Protection Act, general financial consumers can withdraw a subscription without penalty within a set period if the product is eligible for withdrawal.

For investment-type products, withdrawal is possible within 7 days from the date you received the contract documents (or the contract date, if there is no obligation to provide documents). However, only certain investment-type products, such as high-complexity financial investment products, are eligible, and cases where you agreed to have the money invested during the withdrawal period are excluded, so first check whether your product qualifies.
