What is a securities registration statement and when is it filed?
De Nederlandse versie van deze pagina is in voorbereiding. Tot die tijd staat de tekst in het Engels.
A securities registration statement is a document filed with the Financial Services Commission (Financial Supervisory Service) before securities are offered or sold to the public, containing information on the offering or sale and on the issuer.
It must be filed when the amount offered or sold is KRW 1 billion or more, and the offering or sale cannot proceed unless the statement has been accepted. If the financial authorities require an amended statement to be filed, the statement is deemed not to have been accepted from the date of that request.
