What is the minimum amount an individual must invest in a general private fund?

Individuals and corporations that are not professional investors must invest at least a minimum amount set according to the fund's level of leverage.

Under the Enforcement Decree, the minimum is KRW 300 million for funds whose combined derivatives risk exposure, borrowing and the like do not exceed 200% of net assets, and KRW 500 million for funds above 200%. Each fund may set a higher minimum subscription amount, so check the terms of the fund concerned.
