The Financial Supervisory Service has warned of illegal leading-room scams that demand additional deposits from investors seeking withdrawals, using pretexts such as an FSS investigation into the source of funds.

These operators lure people with advertisements for free stock lectures or tips on soaring stocks, have them install fake stock trading apps, make it look as though profits have been made, and then take their money. Never comply if someone demands a deposit citing the FSS; stop trading immediately and report it to the Financial Supervisory Service's Illegal Finance Report Center.
