What happens when a stock is designated as short-term overheated?

The short-term overheating mitigation system is designed to prevent excessive momentum trading and unfair trading in stocks that continue to show abnormal surges or overheating.

If a stock meets the designation criteria, such as its price rising 30% or more above the average closing price of the previous 40 trading days, regular market trading in that stock switches to single-price auctions every 30 minutes for 3 trading days.
