IPOs & IPO Shares
What is pre-IPO investment?
Pre-IPO refers to an unlisted company raising funds at a late stage before listing on a stock market.
Investors invest anywhere from a few months to a few years before the listing and recover their investment when the company lists or is sold to a strategic investor. Because the risk is high, investors often invest at a price below the eventual offer price.
