Private Funds & Qualified Investors
What happens if redemption of a private fund is postponed?
If a general private fund offered to general investors postpones redemption, it must hold a general meeting of investors within 3 months from the date of postponement to resolve matters concerning redemption.
This safeguard was introduced by the 2021 reform. The provisions on general meetings of investors do not apply to private funds offered only to professional investors.
