What is the PBR (price-to-book ratio)?

The PBR is the share price divided by book value per share (BPS), indicating the level of the share price relative to the company's net assets on its books.

Whereas the PER judges the share price in terms of profitability, the PBR judges it in terms of financial structure. Both are used together as reference indicators for gauging the share price relative to corporate value.
