KOSDAQ Venture Funds

Can a KOSDAQ venture fund that is less than 1 year old receive priority allocation?

Yes, but Korea Financial Investment Association regulations set a separate test. A venture company investment trust that has existed for less than 1 year from its initial establishment to the book-building date qualifies for priority allocation only if, as of the business day before the book-building, the combined investment ratios under the Enforcement Decree are at least 35% of total trust assets.

In addition, the regulations limit eligible venture company investment trusts to those established after the amendment to the Enforcement Decree specified in the regulations (Presidential Decree No. 28636) took effect.
