After passing the preliminary listing review, by when must a company list?

For the KOSPI market, the result of the preliminary listing review is valid for 6 months from the date of notification, and if there is an unavoidable reason such as a sudden change in market conditions, the company may request an extension of the filing deadline by up to 6 months.

If the company does not file a new listing application within that period, or if events occur such as a significant management event, false statements or omissions of material matters in the application, sanctions for violating accounting standards, or the issuance of new shares by third-party allotment between the preliminary review application and the listing date, the exchange may refuse to recognize the result. Once it loses effect, the company must undergo the preliminary review again, so pre-IPO investors should also consider the possibility that the listing schedule is delayed or starts over.
