What investor protections apply to general private funds sold to retail investors?

Since the October 2021 reform, funds sold to retail investors require delivery of a key product description, delivery of asset management reports, external audits, and monitoring of fund management by distributors and custodians.
Under Article 249-4 of the FSCMA, distributors must also confirm that investors are qualified.
