What exactly does 'collective investment' mean under the law?

ฉบับภาษาไทยของหน้านี้กำลังจัดทำ ขณะนี้แสดงเนื้อหาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ

The FSCMA defines collective investment as pooling money or other assets from two or more investors, managing them in assets with property value without day-to-day management instructions from the investors, and distributing the results to the investors so that they belong to them.

Carrying on such collective investment as a business is the collective investment business, and asset management companies are the typical example. However, certain cases specified by law are excluded from collective investment.
