Private Funds & Qualified Investors

Is my investment profile (suitability) checked when I invest in a private fund?

The Financial Consumer Protection Act provides that, in principle, the suitability and appropriateness principles do not apply when private funds are sold.

However, they do apply if a general financial consumer among qualified investors, or a similar person, requests it, and the seller must inform them in advance that they can make this request. If you want confirmation that the product fits your investment objectives and financial situation, you can ask for these principles to be applied.
