Checks & Balances

Why We Separate Investing and Oversight

Even sound judgment cannot verify itself. BNB separates the units that decide on and execute investments from the units that review the process, so every transaction is seen through two different sets of eyes.

So that important decisions do not rest with one person, committees deliberate separately on investment review, risk management and the valuation of collective investment property. Our Responsibilities Map sets out each officer's responsibilities for internal control and risk management.
