Do I have to receive the product description on paper?

No. The Enforcement Decree of the Financial Consumer Protection Act allows product descriptions to be provided in writing, by post or email, or by electronic means such as mobile text messages.

The Financial Services Commission has explained that showing the contents of the description on a mobile app or tablet screen also counts as an electronic means. It is a good idea to keep the descriptions you receive for future reference.
