How long do financial companies keep sales records?

A versão em português desta página está em preparação. Por enquanto, o conteúdo é exibido em inglês.

Under the Enforcement Decree of the Financial Consumer Protection Act, records on the conclusion and performance of contracts, advertising materials, and records related to the exercise of consumer rights, such as withdrawals of subscription and terminations of unlawful contracts, must in principle be kept for 10 years.

For products whose contract or coverage period exceeds 10 years, they are kept for that period. You can check the stored records when necessary by exercising the right to request access to records.
