What is the suitability principle?

ฉบับภาษาไทยของหน้านี้กำลังจัดทำ ขณะนี้แสดงเนื้อหาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ

The suitability principle requires a financial company, when recommending a product to a general financial consumer, to ascertain the consumer's investment objectives, financial situation, investment experience and so on through interviews, questions and the like, and not to recommend products that are unsuitable in light of that information.

The information obtained must be confirmed by signature, recording or similar means and maintained, and the confirmed information must be provided to the consumer without delay. You need to provide accurate information in order to be recommended products that suit you.
