Asset managers must in principle value fund assets at market price and, where no reliable market price exists, at fair value as prescribed by law.
To this end, they set up a valuation committee and establish valuation standards confirmed by the trust company, and the trust company checks whether the valuation has been carried out fairly. Please also note that assets without a market price can be valued differently depending on the valuation method.
