What counts as unfair business practices?

A versão em português desta página está em preparação. Por enquanto, o conteúdo é exibido em inglês.

These are practices in which a financial company uses its superior position to infringe on consumers' rights and interests; typical examples are forcing a consumer to sign up for other financial products they do not want as a condition of a loan, or unfairly demanding collateral or guarantees.

Demanding or receiving benefits in connection with its business and charging early repayment fees other than for the specified reasons are also prohibited. If you experience such practices, you can consult the financial company's complaints desk or the Financial Supervisory Service.
