What is a professional investor?

BNB's Terms of Use describe professional investors as individuals or corporations with expertise and risk-bearing capacity for financial investment products who have met the legal requirements and been approved by a financial investment business entity.

For individuals, Korean rules require at least one year in the past five of holding qualifying investment products with an average month-end balance of KRW 50 million or more, plus an income, asset or professional-expertise requirement.
